WEST END GIRLS
In
2002, when
Kay Forrester planned the first
Lunch Bunch, she couldn't have imagined
that it would still be going
strong
today.
Kay has kept the Lunch Bunch
fun and entertaining, with good food at
various restaurant venues
in and around Birmingham. Visit Lunch Bunch
to be added to Kay's notification list for upcoming lunch events.
MAGIC CITY BOPPERS
The
'Magic City Boppers'
was formed in 1990 to preserve the "The Bop" that we grew up
with and became a way to "reclaim" our youth. A weekly dance
was held every
Wednesday night at Bar 31 from 7pm 'til 10pm
and a monthly party was
held on the third Friday night of month at
Kelly Ingram VFW in
Birmingham. In addition, every year since its formation, The Boppers
had a "Hang-Out Weekend" at Panama City Beach or
Orange Beach in May.
