WEHS Class Picnic 2019
Updated 01/02/19

Reservation forms will be posted & emailed in January, 2019
Date changed to April 13 due to Easter

Your Reunion Committee is pleased to announce that your 2017 West End High Class Picnic for the years of 1959-63 (or earlier/later) will be held at Oak Mountain State Park, near Pelham, on Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 10am to 3pm (some people may leave early, so the earlier you come, the more classmates you will see). No entertainment, just an enjoyable day by the lake ol' friends from West End High. Our 2002, 2008, 2012 and 2017 picnics were great fun. About 80 classmates attended each, so put this event on your calendar!

Oak Mountain State Park, Fishing Center Pavilion.
When:  Saturday, April 20, 2019 - from 10am until 3pm.
Lunch:  12 noon. Barbecue pork/chicken sandwich buffet with iced tea and brownies, catered by
Jim 'N Nick's Bar-B-Q.
Cost:  $20 per person ($40 per couple). This covers facility rental, food and incidentals and will need to be paid, whether you are eating or not.
Park Entrance Fee:  $2 each for seniors (that's us!)
Parking:  Plenty of parking.
Rules:  Oak Mountain State Park does not allow alcoholic beverages.
To Bring:  There is ample table seating for everyone. Tea will be served during lunch only, so bring your drink coolers.
We look forward to seeing you for a fun day. Don't miss it!

Your Reunion Committee:  Kaye Tyler, Cliff Walker, Pat Patterson, Marie Clarke, Kay Forrester, Brenda Brown, Jimmy Daniell.

Oak Mountain State Park is 30 minutes south of Birmingham's City Center on Interstate 65. Take Exit 246 at Pelham, west onto Highway 119, then turn south on State Park Road to enter Oak Mountain State Park. Lunch will served at the the Fishing Center pavilion, #19 on map below.
